Povidine solution is appropriate for pre-surgical patient preparation.

Used for disinfection of wounds and burns; and emergency antiseptic treatment of lacerations and abrasions.

It also acts as prophylactic anti-infective agent in hospitals and clinics procedures, providing protection against post operative infection of surgical incisions.

Povidine solution is non-irritating to skin, wounds and mucous membranes and is virtually non-staining to the skin.
